What Pure Amino Peptides is
Pure Amino Peptides is a reading room for the chemistry of synthetic research peptides — a place to work through their published science sequence by sequence. The frame is structural: peptides are read here through their amino-acid chains, their molecular targets, and what the literature has genuinely established, rather than through the marketing claims that tend to arrive first.
This desk covers three compounds — GHK-Cu, BPC-157, and Ipamorelin — chosen because they represent three distinct structural classes and three very different evidence profiles. GHK-Cu is a minimalist copper-chelated tripeptide with real, controlled topical human data. BPC-157 is a proline-stabilized 15-mer with an enormous animal record and almost no human trials. Ipamorelin is a fully synthetic pentapeptide built from non-natural amino acids, with a well-characterized human pharmacokinetic profile and a Phase 2 trial that failed.
Nothing is offered for sale from these pages, no supplier or vendor is promoted, and there is no commercial tie to any peptide company. The room dispenses no medical advice and prints no human doses, stated or implied. What it aims to be is a factual, cited reference — enough to understand what each peptide is chemically, what the research has demonstrated, and exactly where the evidence stops.
Editorial method and citation standards
Every factual claim on this site is drawn from a peer-reviewed study, regulatory document, or established pharmacopeia source. References are cited by number throughout — for example [11] — and every source is listed on the references page with the full citation, journal, year, DOI (where available), and a PubMed or equivalent link.
Where the evidence is thin, we say so. Where a finding is from rats and not from humans, we say so. Where a large share of the foundational literature comes from a single research group (as it does for BPC-157 and for GHK-Cu's gene-expression work), we note that and what it means for independent replication. We treat the absence of human data as informative, not as something to paper over with mechanism extrapolation.
We distinguish between clinical findings (from controlled human trials), preclinical findings (from animal or cell models), mechanistic arguments (plausible from known biology but not directly tested), and anecdotal community reports (personal accounts from research-use communities, clearly labeled as such). These are different kinds of evidence and should not be blended.

Where this reading room stands
This is an editorial publication with no side in the trade: no affiliation with any pharmaceutical company, peptide supplier, research-chemical vendor, or clinical practice. Nothing here is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a course of treatment. The compounds described are research chemicals — not approved drugs for human use, with the narrow exception of GHK-Cu as a cosmetic ingredient in topical products — and their safety, efficacy, and long-term effects in people remain, to varying degrees, unestablished.
Two of the three compounds covered here are prohibited in competitive sport by the World Anti-Doping Agency (BPC-157 under S0; Ipamorelin under S2). Any person subject to anti-doping rules should consult the current WADA Prohibited List and their national anti-doping organization before any engagement with these compounds in a research context.
